How We Can Help You
We understand first hand how immigration issues can negatively affect your life. Our own experiences with the immigration system are why we started this law firm. We want to help Americans get citizenship for their foreign spouses and family.
Online Immigration Lawyer Services
Are you looking for an online immigration lawyer to handle your immigration case? We would love to help you. Our firm handles immigration cases exclusively. That’s because U.S. immigration law is so complicated and changes so frequently that we believe it takes full-time practice to be able to stay up to date and provide the best immigration services we can to you.
Engaged Couples Love is always complicated, but it can be even more so when your fiancé is from another country! We help couples decide which route to a green card makes the most sense in their individual situation and then help them through the immigration process.
Married Couples Have you been living abroad and recently realized that you want to settle in the U.S.? Or maybe you are already living in the U.S. and have put off filing for immigration benefits because you are not sure whether your immigrant spouse even qualifies for a green card. We help families build their lives together in the U.S. Let us analyze your case and help you through the process.
Waivers of Inadmissibility Because of issues such as a criminal history, or past immigration violations, some immigrants are considered to be “inadmissible” and therefore are unable to receive a green card even though they have a relative such as a spouse who could otherwise sponsor them. However, in some cases the government will forgive an immigrant and allow them to receive a green card anyway. The waiver process is complex and your outcome is highly dependent on the skill of your immigration lawyer.
Provisional Waiver Recent administrative changes in the waiver application process allow some applicants to use a procedure that reduces their risk and shortens the time period they must spend in their home country to process their case. This is a fantastic new opportunity for some undocumented immigrants to finally get a green card.
Planning for Undocumented Immigrants Due to the harshness of current immigration laws, there are many immigrants who unfortunately have no way of acquiring legal status at this time. We will give you an honest assessment of your legal immigration options. Even if nothing can be done about your immigration status at this time, it is important for you to plan ahead for the care of your children and belongings in the case that you are ever detained unexpectedly by Immigration. We would like to give you some peace of mind by assisting you with this planning. (These services are currently available only to Indiana residents. If you live somewhere else, let us know and we can partner with a lawyer in your area to help you.)
Removal of Conditions on Green Card People who receive a green card through a marriage that is less than 2 years are given a conditional green card. An additional procedure is required to remove these conditions. It is extremely important that you meet the deadlines for this procedure or you risk losing your green card.
Naturalization Having a green card is great, but you are still at risk of being deported if you make a mistake. You also never know how Congress could choose to change the rules for permanent residence in the future. The only way to guarantee you have the right to live in the U.S. for the rest of your life is to become a U.S. citizen.
Petition for Parent, Child, or Sibling - It can be difficult to live apart from family members who are still abroad. We can help you bring them over to be with you in the U.S. Some categories of family members currently have waits of many years, so we recommend getting them in line as soon as you start considering having them come over.
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) - If you are an undocumented young adult who was brought here as a child, you might qualify to take advantage of this great opportunity to receive a work permit. Let us help you take the first step to really starting to live the American Dream.
Crime Victim Visas (U Visa, T Visa) - If you have been the victim of a crime and have cooperated with the police and/or prosecutors, you may be eligible for a special kind of visa created to protect victims who step forward.
Renewal of Green Card - We can prepare your green card renewal application for you quickly and painlessly.
Detained Immigrants/ Deportation Defense - There are some types of immigration services that realistically cannot be provided by an online immigration lawyer, and deportation defense is one example. That’s because your lawyer must appear personally in court to argue your case. We currently only represent immigrants who were detained or arrested in Indiana or who have been ordered to appear at the Chicago Immigration Court.
